“Flowers for Ikegami” is a collection of photographic works using flowers from Montréal Canada as subjects. The 3 RGB channels from each photo are isolated, glitched, and recaptured individually through a monochrome CRT television. The resulting images from this process are then composited back together to create a color image, inspired by trichromatic photography experiments and techniques. A full process video can be seen here.
This webpage presents the entire collection of works, as well as some documentation about the project. These works are available digitally on objkt.com. Artworks are also available as signed 1/1 fine art prints on Hahnemühle silver photo paper by request (dimensions: 20 x 15 inches, $500 CAD + shipping). There are a limited number of them already available at aitso.org. Please contact aitso for further details, or to request a print that hasn't been made already.
